The Eagle currently serves as a 150 man training vessel for the US Coast Guard, moored at new London, CT. Before she came to the US, however, she was known as the Gorch Fock (1936). Commissioned, built, and launched in Germany, this was the second ship built in this particular design. She undertook many sailing voyages during WWII before her handoff to the US Coast Guard as war reparation. It was there she was christened the ‘Eagle’.

Reinforcing it is available exclusively through us with a portion of the purchase proceeds going to the USCG Foundation to support our courageous veterans.
